Deal or No Deal?

I'm new here and I looking at buying a g37. I been talking to couple of dealers around me and I think i got it trimmed down. One dealer is offering:
Journey
~ Premium Package
~ Technology Package
~ Navigation Package
~ Trunk Cargo Net
It is Blue Slate with Stone Interior
"Internet Discount Price": $39,295.00 (+tax, title & fees)
What do you guys think of that? Sounds good or should I been able to bring him down more? Also what do you guys think of the colors? I was personally looking for a black one but no one seems to have black with those packages.

Do you want the car you want or do you want the price? Sometimes, you can't get both.

It's a buyers market, tell that dealership to drop the car to $20,000 or you'll buy a Scion tC hahaah j/k the deal looks fine. Dave is correct, it all comes down to what you want and are comfortable with, enjoy your car!

Jattsurma,

I could do the research, however, it's more meaningful if you do it. What is the invoice price for the car? That's what you should be paying. Invoice is a very good deal...below invoice is a great deal. Many people on this forum have paid at invoice.

My $0.02 worth.

Dave,

I respectfully disagree...in this case, you can have both - a great price and the car of your choice.

Ramex,

You are so spot on...I rarely say this to civilians, but... ooh rah!

Read this from another post...

Today I went to trade my car for a new M3 at my local BMW dealer. After test drive the M3 and start negotiating the price of the car the dealer offer me only $33,000 for a perfect fully loaded G37S. What happen to the value of my G37S????
Price is everything...

Now you consumers tend to forget a few things. You want the exact vehicle you want and forget that in 98% of those cases, we the dealers must trade to acquire that vehicle for you. Anytime a trade is made, fees are paid to both to the state and sometimes to the dealer from which the vehicle is acquired from for any dealer add-ons, therefore increasing costs vs. a unit from dealer stock. This is why I said what I said (read again... sometimes).

I might be a salesperson, however I'm not the one selling this gentlemen this vehicle.

Dave ISM,

I prefer to think of us as customers, versus consumers (sorry pet peeve) .

As a salesperson, I am confident your goal is to exceed customer's expectations. As you know, some customers require a little more attention than other. Therefore, the original poster would have had a better experience if you were leading the charge.

We appreciate your willingness to share your experience and expertise.
