Not liking the stock ride height - Suggestion for best setup for OEM'ish ride

The gap on the front of the car is pretty ugly. I'm on sports 19's. Not really planning to upgrade rims because I did get the Diamond VIP (tires for life) plan thrown in the deal. But if I were to get wheels (Work CR2P) they will still be 19's so this setup should still work for it.

Here's what I'm thinking.

1) Eibach Pro Kit or OEM 370Z springs?
2) Kyb shocks
3) SPC front and rear camber kits

Decided on Eibach and KYB because they're black. And looks closes to OEM. Also Eibach has a rep for ride quality.

Found this 370Z Sports OEM springs and shocks. Would these work and dropping the car a little? Or would the weight difference from Z to G throw things off a little.

Aren't the KYB shocks essentially OE replacements? Depending on how many miles are on your car, it might not be worth replacing them OE dampers.

I'd say Koni, but they're yellow

Says they're good for OEM springs or Lowering springs. So as long as it doesn't bottom out like the stock shocks does on lowering springs, I'm good.

No, it says "works with".

All KYB literature implies they are OEM equivalents. I don't think they're a real upgrade.

Might consider Tein Basis Coilovers, they are about $600 and will get you the exact height you want.
There's a few that are running them, here's one thread

Stock shocks and struts do NOT bottom out with Eibachs, my car hasn't bottomed out once since I put the springs on. The struts and shocks won't wear any faster either. The only thing that would cause them to wear faster would be if they were blowing through the stroke and exceeding normal travel. ie bottoming out.

What about Tein H-Tech. Don't really like coilovers. Takes a good 15 minutes just to adjust 1 coil. F that!

But once you get them set you're exactly where you want it to be, worth it IMO.

As far as the H Techs, a mild dropping linear spring, should have OEM type ride quality, in the same range as the Tanabe. For whatever reason you don't see many H Tech drops around here

Yeah, everywhere I look, it's all Coilovers or Pro Kits.

I had the pro kits on my Teg. Didn't really like it because the front was higher than the rear? The G doesn't seem to be affected by that tough.

I'm leaning towards Pro kits or H-Tech. My last coilovers gave a very bouncy ride due to the shorter springs. So it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I agree with blnewt on the Tein basis. I just picked up a set. Everyone says they ride like stock so we will see when I put them on later this week. I am not sure where you live, but the ability to raise and lower the car for summer/winter is pretty nice here. I almost did Swift Springs, but they do not lower evenly front to back. With springs you are stuck with the ride height they drop to and the Basis are not much more than most springs.

If you are going to be tracking the car at all I would stay away from progressive springs like Eibach and H & R. If you are just using it on the street you should be fine.
