how much documentary and title fees did you pay?

how much documentary and title fees did you pay?

i got quoted for 300.50 for documentary and title fees, i think thats a little too much. what do you guys think?

Not sure..as I was quoted around that same amount.

What's involved in documentation and titling a car? If it involves waiting at the DMV..hehe..who really wants to do that and waste time? I'd gladly pay for that.

You guys are kidding right? I paid $82.50 for the MSO, no other "documentation" fees; bought it in NY state.

I didn't have to get it registered because I'm importing it into Canada, but still...

On second thought, I did have one dealer quote me for around $300 of "dealer fees" (for prepping documents and other BS).

Each state's Title and Doc fee is different. For mine, I was quoted $62.50 for the title and $90 doc fee- thats in Wisconsin.

Houston >> $50 Doc fee + $33 Title fee + $72 License fee + $23.75 State Inspection fee = Total: $178.75

money is money, it does not matter if it was $1 or $300, i just do not see how this thing cost $300. $300 is two plane tickets for my dad and i.

so ask them to give u a write down and u shuold chek mpg its very low on g37 and gas is very expensive

If the fee is too expensive for you, then don't buy a car. They're states fees and everyone has to pay them.
