Quick update, been busy with work but the swap is done! Everything is back in its place including the new ecu. I havent started the car yet to test anything as of yet but I will be doing so shortly once I have some time off coming up soon. CSC install was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I definitely took my time with this project but its almost time to start enjoying the rest of the summer and rowing some gears. Updates and DIY coming soon!

Car is done, bedding in the new clutch and breaking in the new trans. I must say my left leg has gotten quite a workout since I have been driving the car a couple of miles a day. I am so tempted to rip thought the gears and go to redline on the windy roads of the north shore of long island but alas, I know I need to be patient lol. Pics on here soon & of course, I will be posting the how to with pics shortly as a guide for any future brave souls lol. I am also going to try and do a video essay and post it with commentary.

Trans Swap DiY is finally posted! Also just got some new 305/30 tires for a set of Konig Hypergrams to go on the car. Didn't realize how fat 305s are...

Been slowly amassing parts to do some maintenance and the dreaded galley gaskets when I get some time off. A recent upcoming trip to Philly and some paranoia led me to installing the oil pressure gauge and seeing that my oil pressure of 7 at idle with the conditions met is a no no. I was going to put the gauge on the pillar but a phone mount lives there and I wanted a clean OEM+ look. As much as I love the clock, I decided to utilize the space for something better. As always a write up will be posted shortly.

Hello all, I have some new goodies to share on here. I have recently acquired ppe LTH, bc racing coils and ported upper and lower manifolds 😀. Will try and install soon now that the weather is tanking. On a side note, I will have to do the galley gaskets at some point. Hopefully I can make a nice detailed writeup for those who want to try it 🤷🏽‍♂️

Hello Everyone! Its been a while, hope all is well! Bunch of stuff done and still more things to do but here is what has been done so far. BC coils with swift springs were installed and the tired but tried and true Tien's went off to a buddy of mine. The rear bumper was removed, some surgery done and it was resprayed by myself. Admittedly that had me more nervous than the trans swap . I finally mounted my Konig Hypergrams and lets just say I learned alot about tires and their respective widths. Also relocated the evap system to make the bumper cut look more aesthetic which made me say bye bye to my invidia gemini exhaust which Ive had on the vehicle since I purchased it and in its place, a Single exit race exhaust from Z1 now resides there. I will say that they car feels and drives different especially with a fresh suspension and the noise is just Overall very happy on where it is right now. As for next to do's on my list, Gallery Gaskets, Installing the PPE LTH, Installing my ported manifolds & R35 Injectors (recently acquired) making a custom intake & making a mock up for a sunroof and antenna delete. With the summer midway and things moving quickly with other parts of life, I hope to get some of those things done soon! In the meantime, a write up is coming soon for the evap delete and here are some pics. Enjoy!

Hey everyone quick update (well maybe not so quick lol) As we all know life gets in the way, but I still have the evap write up to post. I also still have the parts to put on but I did join the whale tail club 2 days ago. I have been prepping the car for autocross events in my area recently and started to modify an R51 Pathfinder with the mighty VQ40. I will post soon once I get some of my other aero/parts installed and I promise it wont be in roundabouts a year time.

Hi All,
It seems like every summer I work on the car to drive it the other 3/4 of the year. I finally plugged the sunroof after alot of trial and error trying to make a bolt in plug with abs plastic, decided to call it a day and rivet on a piece of sheet aluminum. I decided to do this as I was watching my roofs clear coat disappear and just said to hell with it. I also went ahead and made my own door cards, strip out the rear and wrap my dash in suede. Dash removal took me about an hour but wrapping it in suede with contact cement was a pain. Took me another hour to put it back in. Still need to tidy up a few things but here are the promised pics lol. Next is respraying my nib ipl front bumper I got from the misses 7 years ago as well as putting on an oil cooler. A 3d Printer came in handy for making a plug for the bluetooth antenna and for the switches for the door cards. I have to finish calculating the weight but the radio was removed from the vehicle but I was unable to de integrate the boards so I could separate the a/c unit from the radio. My plan was to use the middle for more gauges.

Hi All quick update! Finished the door cards, and the interior for the most part. Finished painting my IPL front bumper and putting on my R tune Nismo decal. FInally did install the solid mounts everywhere as well as my oil cooler. Now that I am back tat work from leave it leaves my Upper n Lower Plenums, injectors and PPE LTH on the table before install. Hopefully I can weasel some time soon to get the Plenums and injectors going. Also need to swap out my seats but havent decided on what I want in terms of fixed buckets.
