Still recovering from surgery so havent had a chance to really enjoy my acquisition, 2014 Q60 premium sport coupe.
Had it detailed today and she sure looks good. Future plans/mods will be minimal.
1. When tires are needed I will replace the silver rims with something in black. I saw ebay has a set that I can get with trade for roughly $600. But I will look into changing to a 20" non staggered setup. This on other cars has been a better economical choice so will see later.
2. Stereo: While the factory setup is decent it doesnt fit my need for the music to really pop, boom and bang! So Im gathering all the hardware. Alpine PXE-0850 DSP, Alpine PDX-V9 amp, and either Focal K2 elite or Alpine type R speakers all around with an added 10" sub with custom box.

I installed sprint booster to get rid of accelerator lag. Installed controller near trip odometer reset. I have mixed feelings thus far on it. I was trying to solve low speed/rpm lag from a dig. I may need to drive it more to really tell but I feel it more above 1000-2000 rpm.

After using the sprint booster, all I can say is wow! A definite and considerable improvement. I am having to dial the settings down. Throttle was too touchy for low speed driving. I cant speak on how it performs at WOT, but leading up to WOT it certainly gets there faster. Turn off tracion control and you can scratch 1,2 and 3 gear when driving hard.
I read some speak on getting a tune is a better solution. But I dont like the exhaust noise from those exhaust systems. Except the Ark system. And to truly mkae a tune effective I need to invest additional $2000 first. So a $300 serves its purpose just fine.
I am however consider a supercharger install after a couple years of ownership. But even that is a little too rich for my blood. Almost $10,000 including install is NOT good money to me. Time will tell.

Thanks for that. That is more appealing. I need to find a shop local in L.A. area that could install. Questions...
1. What other mods would I need to do to facilitate?
The car would not be tracked, just my own street rod. Not looking to set any records but to run down the average Z or maybe even a GTR? lol
I do NOT like loud exhaust notes. I prefer stealth over flashy any day. The stock sound is fine with me.

Definitely an upgraded fuel pump and injectors. I'd also upgrade the stock exhaust to breath better. You'll want to arrange a tune as well. That particular set-up deletes the factory cats so that's going to turn up the volume. If you happened to go with this set-up, I'd recommend getting a Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator to install as close to the dumps as possible.
