Semi Stealth Sub Install

Hey guys, I just wanted to share with you my latest mod. It took a guy 3 weeks to finish it, but it finally is done! I have a Rockford Fosgate T10001bd amp (power series) and a T2 12" 2ohm 1000 watt RMS sub in a custom 2.5cu. ft. box. I have a 3 farad cap flush mounted to the cabin side of the box. I had to upgrade the crappy Inifniti battery to an optima yellow top and ran 1 gauge wire to a distribution block/volt meter. The final product has a Infiniti logo cover with a mesh grill under it to allow airflow as well as let me fit my spare tire in the car!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pics!

11 layers of fiber glass to make a stong base for the box!

The stock hub for the spare tire will act as a support

The bolt is in!

Making sure everything fits right, and looks correct.

Optima FTW

Very nice. I can't see all the photos on my phine; did you ground the amp back to the battery negative post or in the trunk?

I see additional grounding in your future.

The sides of the center piece pop out and allow me to store things down to the bottom of the trunk.

I know it's dirty, it has been at the guys house...outside, for 3 weeks through rain and shine!

The spare fits in the space that is left. If I am going on a long roadtrip (which is rare in that car) I just put the back seat down for my stuff and store the spare there.
