Hey, I’m moving over the guts to my new dome light housing. How did you do this part. The G has the cyclops style and the Qx has two eyes. See photo.

I kept the G mic, just used a Dremel to make the notch on the housing.

Were you able to connect that oem mic to your Phoenix radio? If so, how?

Also, can you give me a contact number for where I can get the sunroof cover handle?

Unfortunately I haven't seen anyone utilize the OEM mic with the Phoenix radio. The Mic on those units is my main pain point and will most likely result in me swapping to a Workshop 12 or back to OEM. I purchased my handle from Clear Lake Infiniti and then shot them an email afterward (parts@clearlakeinfiniti.com)

Who knows when the ws12 comes out. It looks dope tho. So unless you are using oem radio the mic you had to drill hole for in the dome light isn’t actually needed right? I didn’t put mine in and I’m debating if I want to go back, pull it apart and do the same or just leave it out.

Works been crazy busy with several projects coming to a close, which has minimized time to work on the G. Still find the time to keep her detailed though

Looks badass!. How's your seat comfort? I feel like the cushioning on mine has collapsed.
Looking around in yards for sport seats to transfer some foams over to my skins.

thanks man! So far so good, I’m starting to see more wear on the drivers side bolster, but the foam is holding up well. I’ve been pretty militant about Leatherique treatments since I puchased the seats however.

Me too. However, my driver's seat leather is still ruined. Makes me sad every time I get in the car.

I'm comfortable enough, just the leather wore out down the center panels. Didn't matter how clean I kept it, the finish and material just wore out. I blame blue jeans. If I ever get it repaired, I will not be sitting on the leather directly with jeans. Which seems kind of silly, but oh well. At the end of the day, it's a car. Cars get driven. Things wear out.

Kind of off topic, but Deep mentioned how he regularly cares for the leather. I like to think I do too, and yet here I am with damaged leather.

I didnt put too much interest in mine after getting them steamed, cleaned and conditioned. They did improve however the "face" of the seat which is the only leather part had turned into a darker red and the vinyl which are the sides and back have started to "pink" out.
I could care less since I found the matching color to re do them at a later time. I'll be looking for a sport seat in good condition to use and see if it improves. If it does I'm swapping the red skins to the new one.

Why dont you guys try the autoleatherdye if the leather itself is not actually ripped? I was absolutely shocked how well my dyed seat matches the rest of the interior.

As you all can see the back of the seats.

Icrap, If I find a similar match I'll probably do the dye. Was wondering if the dye will look better with a black seat since they are darker than the Monaco red.

The breather holes have started to desintegrate on mines. Dye will coat the exposed deformed holes and it will look bad.
My best bet with dye is something like you did. Find a donor and experiment. The great thing is that the stitching on Monaco is also red I dont have to worry about covering it.
