Looking good. What was the reasoning behind this? New bumpers or just overall having everything freshened up?

I had to get the rear painted as I was converting from a 2010 to an 08-09 bumper to run the Spats/Autokits diffuser combo. While the car was at the shop, I decided to go ahead and mold the front lip. There was road damage from the past two years that help solidify the decision- but truthfully I’ve always wanted it molded as it just cleans the look up (and allows me to run a CF lip without looking too busy)

Looking good! By the way, I think I just found a the dome light at a junk yard. He’s going to try and pull it tomorrow and call me tomorrow. Fingers crossed. $65!

Thanks! And I’m assuming that’s from a QX70. If so I’m extremely jealous lol. Now that I’ve got the car back I need to get going on this interior project.

Thank you! It’s a small yet huge change. Kudos to the shop for the execution.

Finally got around to porting the GTR Map Lenses and migrating the G37 wiring into the QX70 Map Light. Easy Peasy. and 1,000,000% better than my original painted attempt. @sobeIPL this one's for you

That is a glorious item right there. I just bought mine today too. Pic from junkyard below. It’s a little beat but he said it’s more just dirty and scratches aren’t too bad. I also have mediocre condition gtr housing so I can Frankenstein the best bits from each and probably be okay. I got the elusive center piece now tho which is the important part.

Thanks man! I am very happy with how it all turned out, and looking forward to finally getting this interior complete. Congrats on the find! That part looks to be in great shape, and I’m sure it’ll clean up nicely. I’d highly recommended the GTR map lenses so you don’t have that “frosted” look.

Also @ILM-NC G37S I owe you an apology. After months of unsuccessfully trying to source a Q50/60/70 Sunshade handle (jokers on eBay wanted $150+; I took another shot at the 91275-4GA1C part number with another dealer- this time utilizing a Q60 VIN and calling the dealer to specify I wanted the part in black.

And what do you know.... it’s the exact same part number for multiple colors. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Ha. So I was right after all... hear that @sobeIPL ? Imagine that I love being right.

No apologies needed, I'm just glad you found the part that you wanted. FWIW, it seems that Nissan has a new version of their parts catalog (FAST, EPC, whatever it is now) and it stinks.

Thanks for the update!

@sobeIPL Yeah that’s a second one. Same part number, two different color parts.

@ILM-NC G37S The 2nd dealer told me when they receive online orders they just grab whatever stock they have on hand, so unless a customer specifies a color preference they are not going to wait (which is what happened, black part actually was fulfilled by a 3rd dealer). Craziness.
