Been a real minute... some new updates on the G

Purchased 2 10s last year and had a bbk installed yesterday w z1 2 piece rotors now let me just say, it was worth it. There is a noticeable difference over factory rotors (30lbs lighter), car takes off easier and feels lighter on all four corners, reduced stopping distance, and best of all they look killer. Front calipers got some nice clearance. I know some people may say that i could’ve gone without the rears but since I have subs in the back I look at it as a substitute for the heavy factory rear rotors haha. One of the rear calipers came chipped but I installed it anyways and that was my mistake as it disqualified me for an exchange from z1. All they could offer me was 50$ in store credi (or so they said) so I just took that. Just going to apply clear nail polish over it the meantime, fortunately they’re unnoticeable on car. Overall tho I’m happy and the bbk really pops.

she is now on the ground (not really tho) with still the same trunk space I had before I also had some dents removed from a pdr guy and came out amazing for 150$. Saved me over 2 grand.

Bought some custom 2 piece forged wheels weighing at around 24-26 lbs each. You guys might be saying they look like the nismo v1s and that’s because they’re inspired by them but IMO with an awesome “facelift” haha
Cool to say this is the first custom color made for this wheel and also the first set to go on a g coupe.. can’t wait to put these babies on. They’re currently at the shop getting ceramic coated

Installed spc front upper control arms and voodoo rear camber arms that i purchased from a member here a year ago and toe was out so much in the rear that it was drifting on the way to the alignment shop so it was 20mph the entire way. The rears were also making a very noticeable and annoying squeaking sound from the rusted ball joints? I know the bushing isn’t rubber anymore so it could be either or. luckily alignment shop fixed everything. Very scary experience haha although sqeaking is already coming back may need to grease it more, hopefully i won’t have to buy new rear arms.

sitting pretty at home. have to remove that nasty rockguard that I accidentally cut through with my pressure washer it was yellowing anyways so whatever

Those wheels with the Z1 2-piece rotors... wow. I could stare at that all day long.

When did you swap the front bumper? I must have missed that.

I removed my OEM chip guard this summer, same yellowing and dirt dark edges. No regrets.

Fantastic build.

Good catch aha, I completely forgot about my bumper swap. Back in May last year I did an IPL front bumper swap and had it clear bra’d with stek dynoshield that you can’t even tell it’s there for 400$. IMO it was worth the money because over a year later, there’s already small chips that I know would’ve scratched my paint but the clear bra absorbed it. It also adds a extra layer of shine/gloss so plus 1 for that.
