Did get the GTR wheels on. With the wider sidewall, car feels taller 
, debating lowering it slightly but then again it is the wifes car....not so sure its a good idea.
Car is filthy in these pics, was about to clean her up but it ended up raining and I also went and filled up all 4 tires as they were low as you can see.
With these being 4 fronts, it gives it a nice flush fit. Will be getting an alignment this upcoming weekend to dial it in.

Fitment looks excellent using two GTR fronts. And the wheel design itself fits our Sedan well as an aggressive rim. But glossy deep blue metallic on a light silver/gray car... ugh. That's just horrible. It looks ridiculous.
So two out of three isn't bad.

I agree that the color is not right for that car. The rims do look really big for the car too. I originally thought a shinier silver would look good with the chrome trim around the windows. (I really like how this looks on my car) But it is a lot of wheel so maybe back to the original muted silver would still look classy.

Paint the rims in OEM Black Obsidion, and lay down the small INFINITI decal from the rear sport brakes, in silver, along one spoke on each rim. Then swap in the OEM Fuji center-cap, also painted black except for the Fuji logo itself. Leave that chrome. And go back to chrome lug nuts.
Oh, and paint the OEM non-sport calipers in a dark gun-metal. Not black.

LOL like I said before, this color isnt for everyone. It may have just been the quick crappy cell phone pics or not. In the sun they give off a really nice metallic blue head on and then from other angles they appear darker blue and even a slight hint of purplish. You may have a different appreciation for them in person. Either way I personally like them but my opinion only goers so far as im not the one who has to drive it daily so we shall see.
John you clearly put some thought behind it but I will not have another set of black wheels ever. Got way too dirty way too fast. But it sounds like your trying to make it like the NISMO wheels.
Brad, not sure I'd go that dark with Plasti-dip, but I just ordered a wheel kit and should have a nice change this weekend for the 6mt

Pics often do injustice, from the close up pics of those wheels the finish looks deep and immaculate. It's a bold change from the body color so it will take some adjustment. IMO it's probably something you'd need to see in person, and more than once to appreciate.
When I first saw some deep maroon wheels on a gray car I though it was out of place, but I really like that combo now.

Well honestly never thought I'd ever be here with anything on my car. What i'm referring to is Plasti Dip. I used it probably 5 years ago on some emblems and swore I'd never use it again, it just wasnt for me. Over the years I've seen video after video and pic after pic of new and improved methods and colors/finishes.
As some of you know, I had a bad experience with a "touchless" car wash last month that curbed my front drivers wheels pretty badly. I have been contemplating powder coating but wanted to get an idea of colorway I want to go first before jumping full in. So here we are...Plasti Dip
I had been looking over the last 2 weeks and seeing some amazing results of smooth finishes and very nice colors imo. I had decided to go with the Burt Copper Pearl wheels kit. So before I go further into this, I had numerous issues with the entire process and should have taken the signs as such, but being hard headed, stubborn, and then of course anxious....I proceeded anyway. So as mentioned I thought I had ordered the Burnt Copper Pearl kit, what I actually ended up ordering was the Copper Metalizer kit. For those of you who are familar with dip, these 2 are COMPLETELY different and my dumbass didnt realize it until I was already spraying the 1st coat of metalizer. Yes I am well aware that it states it on the can, I think all I saw was Copper listed and didnt think twice.
So to make a long story short, I finished all wheels and was allowing them to dry before the final pass of Glossifer. About am hour into that, apparently the wind picked up tremendously and blew the index cards all of the wet wheels. Needless to say it messed up 3 out of the 4 finishes
I had to redo them, it was getting late, it was dark and thus I was extremely frustrated, which all equaled to me have some drips, flaws, and most importantly I created a texture finish instead of the smooth finish I was after. Just an overall not so pleasant experience.
While the wheels look good from a far, anyone with a semi decent eye to details can QUICKLY see all the flaws. Im about half tempted to just peel it all off, although I dont want to waste the $55 I paid for the kit.
Only thing I can think of now, is to allow the dip to fully cure and then attempt to very softly wetsand the wheels with 3k sandpaper to see if I can create some smoothness.
Anyway on to the pics, and yes I realized that I had forgotten to take off the tape around the valve stem last night. To me it looks more of a Matte Copper/Bronze and excuse the filth, shes do for a detail this weekend.
