Absolutely, the car feel's completely different with the PSS. The noise level went up a bit but having great traction is a far better trade off. Really liking the car now in the warm weather, the adaptive suspension in Sport / Sport+ mode is definitely awesome though having a rear Stillen sway bar set at the stiffest level also aides in cornering. Really loving it, I just need intakes, the VR motor sounds soo sad. I can only imagine how awesome the coupe must feel.

I really want to mod it, but I've heard a few stories of people over boosting the engines and blowing them, one person only had bolt-ons, cat back, down pipes, and intakes. So I'm kind of waiting on more people to try out some of the mods I was looking at doing before doing it myself. Mainly the down pipes and tune. I don't think the engine is that fragile, but I don't want to risk it because I can't afford to replace the engine out of warranty. But I'm still going to put my springs on sometime next month, just waiting on my bonus.

Plus I'll be honest. I went to the drag strip a couple of weekends ago and I've kind of been wanting to build a drag car that I can still drive on the street. I'm thinking about trying to build a Pontiac G8 GXP, thinking that that LS3 would be a good starting platform. We'll see though.

Here's a couple of updated pictures I took about a week ago of the Q50RS. I put my 20mm spacers on all four corners and plastidiped the rear chrome pieces around the license plate and added a glossifier.

Sounds like a sound plan Kirk, why chance ruining that great daily driver for the sake of time slips. G8 makes a lot of sense there.

Car looks great! Loving the blacked out look, do you plan on blacking our the window trim? I really wanted to install 15mm spacers on mine but the stupid Rays wheels dont take the DRM spacers and so I'll need longer studs and etc which I do not want. I've been seeing video's online of folks with the Still intake and I'm soooooooo tempted. I think that's the last thing I want on the car as a bolt on. I only have an axle-back so I can't imagine the exhaust and intake doing any sort of damage. We'll see, Stillen orders for the intake are backed up approx a month - 2 months.

Good to hear.

Ya not much out for the Q60 as of yet.

It handles quite well in Sport + anyway, so I'm happy for now. :-P

I caved, after hearing some clips on youtube of the new Stillen intake for the VR motor, I couldn't resist so I went ahead and ordered it. Now I'm nervous as I'm not sure if I'm going to blow my engine up by having an intake and axle-back exhaust

It shouldn't. I've only read of one case of someone over boosting their engine with bolt ons.

The Stillen intakes sound pretty good, well at least on the video they posted of the 300. I'd be interested in hearing your reactions of it on the 400. I've heard it produces more turbo noise.

I really wanted 15mm spacers with my new wheels but I was surprised that the Rays didn't have the clearance to allow DRM spacers unless I got the elongated studs which I really dont want, sucks. There's this video on youtube of a guy flooring it in first gear and going around in circles in his RS with the Stillen intakes, sounds really nice. TURBOOOO

Are you going to install your intake yourself?

Yea I had Jenn at Stillen send me a pdf of the instructions so I could review and and see whether I need to have them installed by my mechanic. They seemed pretty straight forward so I'll attempt myself. It'll be another 3-4 weeks before they come. Will keep you updated.

Just a minor update, got my new vanity plate
My rear tails are painted from the inside rather than outside, it's an extremely clean look and compliments the car perfectly. Also, those Tanabe tips

Car looks fantastic, Goonz! If I were behind you at a light, I'd be looking at your Q with appreciation and respect for what I was seeing.

...and then I'd see that NISMO tag frame.

I was honestly thinking of getting the same plate for my RS whenever I renew my plates.
