So I've been on a big JDM kick lately which is fun but really hurts the noticeable mods. But thought I'd update a few things.

Acquired a couple rare things including 2 uber rare Tommy Kaira clocks and also custom fabricated a push start out of a discontinued shift emblem from a surbaru I believe it was. The shift emblem mod was quite involved and much more difficult than it would have seemed.

Instead of writing it again I'm just posting the photos from Facebook.

Akebonos had some drama surrounding them. Took them to a friends shop and he kept putting them off for a very long time. Eventually got them back and they look great. Just ordered the rebuild kit, 5.1 fluid and post quiet pads.

Kickplates from Tommy Kaira. The long ones are being repurposed. I didn't want to cover the illuminated plates. But the short ones are installed.

The G is looking good man! Some of those Mt. Ranier photo ops look familiar .
I don't live in WA but make my way out quite often. Saw you talking about a club with ProjectVIP. If I ever happen to time a trip out there right, I might have to check out some of your guys rides!

Thanks man!

Definitely do check them out. The rainier trip was with our Seattle cars and coffee group which is very open. The INC is quite a bit more reserved and we don't do much for cruises but more events. But always looking to meet people and talk cars so check out our public Facebook page.

Wow, you've been acquiring a lot of TK parts, really doing a nice job w/ this G! Love the clock & kickplates, and those calipers look superb. Look forward to more updates & pics.

Very interesting with not installing the front TK plates and only the rear. My brother just got a set for xmas, although hes going CF with the plates and will be removing the illuminated ones.

Car looks great and always glad to see another TK supporter!!

It's been an amazing year already for car mods.

Started with a full body wrap in 3M Matte White with a gloss black roof, gloss mirrors, and debadged the INFINITI letters on the trunk.

No more mismatched whites with the barrels of my wheels.

Also ordered some Z1 slotted/drilled rotors and have an appointment on Wednesday to get them installed with my powdercoated Akebonos.

Feb 22nd I have an appointment for a full Ceramic Pro coating on the car.

And I have 2 ultra rare Tommy Kaira pieces en route that will be displayed once arrived.

You sure have been busy! Quite a job getting that car to match your wheels Looking very nice BTW. Those blue calipers are really going to pop w/ the rest of your car, really looking forward to seeing this all together. Oh, and if you want to detail those rotors you can paint the slots w/ VHT Flameproof and the hub area, just tape off everything except the slots in the pad contact area w/ blue painters tape and leave about a 1/4" into the pad contact patch untaped, this will create a clean cut line when the pads make contact leaving a clean professional look. You then do a full cure of the paint when you get them installed by running a few hot braking cycles, a cool down then another braking cycle. You'll end up with rust free hat area and really show off the slotted rotors.

Thank you gentleman. Blnewt, your thoughtfulneds in the responses you give each person that posts is not unnoticed. And thank you for the tip. I had never heard of that mod before. Won't have time before they get installed Wednesday but perhaps when the weather dries out more.

I picked up the calipers from getting ceramic Coated yesterday. Look shiny and a bit more protected.

Wow on the calipers, that ceramic coating really brings that top coat to life, some of the best looking I've ever seen around here!

Oh, and thanks for the kind words!
