Welp, got the wheels and tires installed yesterday from Belle Tire. They seemed to have the most advantageous offers besides just basic installation.

As expected, the ride is now completely different. I've been trying to pay attention to any drag when under acceleration; although I think anything I'd be feeling would be related to the tire width more than anything. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that one. Original tires were 225 and these are 245. So much meaner in it's stance now! Wheel weight is 26.7 lbs for 19X8.5, which i understand is not much different from the OEM 17 inch alloy.

Whenever Michigan decides to stop raining I will get some decent pictures of the whole setup. However judging from the forecast that won't be for a few days lol. Car looks completely different now.

Edit:

So turns out I was completely naive with regard to wheel weight. Put those things on and my acceleration tanked. Back to the plasti dipped rims until my new set of glossed gunmetal gray Forgestars arrive in a month. Oh well. Pretty much on hold at this point until everything comes in. The little bonus I earned for February was all but gobbled up by these wheels. One day, Stillen, one day...

Ok, update:

So the dealership took my ride Friday morning and took the weekend to replace my entire exhaust system. Not sure why when I only complained of the catalytic converter, but hey it was free so why not? Plus, they lent me a 2015 Q50 for my troubles. (side note: yea, design and technology wise it's pretty, but I swear it's a completely different ride. I honestly prefer the g37 for driving experience)

Car is completely quiet now when it should be, paint is solid, and I ordered TSW Bathursts in gunmetal gray that should be here by the end of the week. Everything I've researched says these wheels should be less than 21lbs (from actual consumers not sellers) so that's reassuring. I understand a few forum members have had issues with these wheels but I'm willing to stick with it.

I'd really like to add to the appearance of my car, possibly a sport lip in front and the oem spoiler in the rear, paint my grille black (but keep the silver infiniti logo).....but being that my car is already black I'm not sure how well the spoiler would stand out the way I want it to. Anyone have any decent OB sedan pics with the oem spoiler?

I don't have anything w/ respects to the OB w/ spoiler (Blnewt might) But out of curiosity how was the driving dynamics of the Q? Ive heard it feels much less spirited than the G and more like a typical luxury car than the spirited animal that the G is.

Funny. That's 99% of what I said to my girlfriend as I was driving it. Don't get me wrong, it is a fantastic car to ride with great qualities and styling to match, but in no way/shape/fashion would I call this the successor to the G37. I experienced a LOT of body roll with this car, something which I would normally come to expect from your average Malibu or Taurus. Also, while acceleration was good, still didn't hold a candle to how vicious the G37 feels under heavy acceleration.

My opinion is that it's a nice car on its own, but I wouldn't purchase it over a G37. Not in its current state. It's not the same machine nor is it a proper improvement. If you want a day to day, I still wouldn't recommend the Q50 as there are better vehicles for a lower cost.

For reference, this was the AWD model.

Here's some pics of mine a long time ago (I have painted taillights now, not overlays) but you'll get the idea. I highly recommend the OEM spoiler on a black Sedan
