Picked these up this week! They come with locks (the replacement lugs the body shop got for me have none), the black caps, and an extra set of blue caps. I feel like I'll run the black caps without a doubt. However, since I have some high quality touch up paint in moonlight white and some leftover anodized red paint & clear leftover from when I DIY my calipers....I think I'll take 10 of the blue caps and play around a little with them. Like 5 moonlight white and 5 anodized red. Just so I can throw them on and see what it looks like. I'll post pics don't worry.

I feel like the black n silver Wotk center caps surrounded by project Kics black chrome R40's with black caps will look great. Nice complimentary pieces for the vsxx's. I think it will break up the smooth all chrome look and hopefully make the rivets and the sexy lips on the wheels pop a bit more. Contrast is the idea here. Continuation of my white with black main color scheme and add some emphasis to the black & chrome accents.

My poor wife took the car for a spin today. Finally. She has been too afraid to take it since I modded out the exterior for fear of messing something up.

Poor thing thru no fault of her own this happened. The poorly secured splitter ripped off and pulled some small chunks out of my bumper, seoerated the drivers side clips of the front bumper, made a 8-10" mark where the splitter made contact with my rear bumper on its way out, and for good measure it chipped re paint on the bottom rear bumper just below the mark.

The good news is the new splitter is already at the body shop and clear coated. Just waiting on the boss to get back on Monday bc he wants to make sure there are zero F-ups on this install. He's not going to be happy about having to fix these new damages, but they are fairly minor. The black mark can be buffed out and I'm only out what I couldn't sold the first splitter with the 11 holes in it. All should be fixed my Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

Wow!
At least you had a practice run w/ the old splitter, Sure hope the new one is secured much better. G/L Reddi, I think it's safe to say we're all rooting for you (and the Mrs.)

Thanks Brad. Yes I believe the new splitter will be secured to the 10th power. Especially after the body shop has to fix the flaws the splitter created when it separated from my car. I feel bad for them, but I'm kinda upset that I won't be able to have a backup splitter or give another member a great deal on one.

Other than that, I'm all good. The new splitter is at the shop and has already been clear coated. My new black n silver center caps are in my car. My project Kics R40 lugs are due in the mail on Monday. I'm taking the car back to the shop on Monday to have all the damage repaired, parts installed, and spacers re torqued.

Lol. Will do. I actually do have a one inch crack on my rear bumper beside the license plate. It's about 2 inches away from where the splitter contacted the rear bumper. I'll notify the shop about it, but they have worked with me on the extra mids and been very nice. So I don't wanna lie to them. If they choose to fix it that's cool with me tho.

What's your IG? wasn't allowing me to view your posts. I'm assuming your page is private. Also, was looking for the review on the LTH. How did you extend your header o2 sensors? What size are your resonators for your exhaust? Do you **** the neighbors off with the cold start?

Clean G and what a way to bounce back from a crash.

My IG is reddiparker I'll get on there and add you after I finish this post.

I wanted to wait until I've had the headers on the car for a few months before I did a real review. I also wanted to get a Dyno run on the car to include with the review. I'll have to go to Memphis for that.. It's coming up on that time. I will say that I'm in love with the way the car sounds after the addition of the LTH's and the CBE. The car sounds like a dragon getting rudely awakened when I cold start it in the garage. Scares my kids when I have to leave home early lol. But to my knowledge it hasn't pissed off any neighbors yet. They may just be keeping quiet (at least to my face) about it.

The O2 sensors come with extensions for the headers come with the LTH''s, but that doesn't stop the CEL from coming on. I still need an Ecuteck tune to bring all the bolt on power mods together and eliminate all the codes I'm throwing.

I had planned on getting 18" resonators with the CBE. But since I had to pay a few hundred bucks to have the CBE modified to clear the underbracung I chose to buy used so I could save enough cash to pay for the install and modification. So I ended up with 12" resonators not by choice. In hindsight I'm extremely glad I was forced into 12". Though I have no idea how much quieter the 18" might have been, I'm very pleased with the sound and power the car puts out now.

I will admit that after the two fast intentions products were installed I felt a def increase in torque and horse power. But in the two months following the install I felt like the car was holding back on me. Like it was running somewhere around 80% power. I've gotten used to it now. But I'm almost certain that when I get my tune I'll be riding in a NA BEAST! Can't wait. I'm just saving up the $860 for the Ecuteck now. Gotta get my swift springs bought first but that's not something I need to save for.

I hope this answered most of your questions. If you have more let me know!!

Answered beautifully. I followed u bk on IG so I'll chk out your page in a min. Yeah I get the p2a00 and p2a03 for my header O2s but I keep forgetting to disable them via the uprev cable. I'm currently researching (and saving) for LTH from fast intentions also so I'm doing as much research I can. Currently I got their HFCs paired with ark CBE and I push my car out the garage to not wake everyone lol. I can't imagine how louder it'll be with the LTH on. I'm on that accel/mid range power build so that's on my list as well as one piece carbon fiber drive shaft then retune on ecutek.

Thanks man I really appreciate that. A modded vert is a rare gem. I love it. I'm extremely happy with where it's gone so far.

Sorry if there are still some pages in the middle with black photos. I'm trying to correct them a few pic uploads at a time. I'll get it all fixed up eventually, but for now I'm happy that the first couple pages and the last page or two are competed with pics.

How long have you had your vert? Any mods done so far? What plans have you made for it as of now?

Its all good. Ill definitely take a peek once you get all of those pics up and running. Ive had my vert for several months now and just enjoying the stock ride, power, luxury amenities etc which is all new too me. (coming from modified S2Ks and MX5s)

So far I've just replaced the brakes with HAWK performance pads and new OEM rotors. I have huge plans but taking it easy to make sure I do it right the first time. Let me know what you think. Going OEM+ for my mods. I want to make it a performer for track days but it still has to retain the luxury grand touring aspect of the car (plan on taking it to many road trips in the future).

STAGE 1

Hawk Pads / OEM rotors
OEM Paddle shifter kit
SWIFT springs (coupe springs)
KONI yellows
Z1 oil cooler
STILLEN 7AT trans cooler
TANABE FTSB (if applicable)
MOTORDYNE F&R Sway bars

Stage 2

Lightweight wheels (Definitely wide 18s, still figuring out specs)
Michelin PILOT SUPER SPORTS

STAGE 3
If I ever become power hungry LOL satisfied with the 325HP for now

GTHAUS CBE
HFC (brand undecided)
TAKEDA CAI
Z1 "400hp" package (if applicable)
UPREV tune

I can tell you right off the KONI yellows aren't supposed to work on convertibles. If you want coilovers on a vert I've been told over and over that your ONLY option is BC's.

I would love to have the OEM paddle kit. How much does that cost?

I think the list os nice. I guess 18's are faster than 20's huh. I went the reverse route from your list. I got all my power mods first and then started plugging away at exterior mods.

I know how great the car feels right off he bat. Love it. But if you'd consider spending a little on one power mod it should be the LTCAI. It's the perfect amount of power and sound added to make you really feel the car turn into a beast. Some disagree, but they must be used to enormous amounts of hp. Everyone that gets to ride in my car all agreed that the LTCAI was a killer addition.

That might start you on the power bug tho lol.

Hmm that's weird, I talked to a vendor on here (GT monsters) and a rep from tirerack that says the koni yellows are definitely available for the vert ! I would love coilovers but I am afraid of clunks and noises that might arise from it.

OEM paddle shifter kit is pretty inexpensive if you know where to look. You can find them on Ebay or Amazon. Just got to make sure your vert is prewired for it. I have not checked mine yet though.

Infiniti G37 Paddle Shifter Installation

As you can tell from my history with cars, I like them lightweight so I will try my best to shave weight where ever I can on the vert. Whether is be a few pounds from the tires, brakes, suspension, removing spare / tools, titanium exhaust etc I also chose 18s because I have a base and no BBK so although I would love 19s, it would make my standard brakes look puny lol So lightweight 18s, nice tires, and ungraded pads will do.

As for power, it satisfying... FOR NOW lol How do you like the TAKEDA LTCAI ? Is it a true bolt on / plug & play piece ? I read the STILLEN gen 3 CAI you have to trim some pieces to get it to fit correctly. So it turned me off and I came across the TAKEDA LTCAI.

At this point in my life, I am trying to limit the trial & error with my mods. I did a lot of that with my previous cars and I want to limit my time in the garage nowadays. I plan to keep this car for a good 8+ years and beyond if possible so I definitely want to make sure all parts I select are proven to be plug n play, durable, & reliable.

We are in the same boat. I bought a base model (just turned out that way when I was looking for good deals) and I fully intend on keeping this ride for 8-10 years.

I bought my BBK off the classifieds for $780 btw and did the paint n install myself.

I'm extremely happy with my Takeda LTCAI. It's a straight plug n play. Tbh that's the first mod that I've ever installed myself. It took me about 2 hours but if your experienced you should have no trouble getting done in an hour or 1.5

I just like the look of 20" or just bigger wheels otherwise I would've gone smaller for speed. I plan on getting into the auto toss and track stuff after my tune. Perhaps I'll save up and buy some smaller wheels and tires to track. I dunno. I'm still new to all of thi. Had the car for a year now.
