Hey everyone! Starting my build thread. I had an AWD coupe as my previous car & focused more on looks with it. I'm going for more performance with my IPL with some cosmetic experimenting.

2011 Malbec black IPL.





The car from the dealer had a few things done to it from the previous owner: GTR Push to start
Cool white full exterior and interior LED's
Tints


Cusco TSB


Gloss back grill, debadge, and tanabe axle back installed



FI RHFC


GTR Map/Dome light covers installed with Diode Dynamics 56 lumens LEDs. Matches the factory door light covers.




Z1 post maf tubes


Contemplating installing Stillen gen2's

 

Real nice love the gloss black grille. And you did a good job of capturing the Malbec black in picture, can't seem to get it right no matter how hard I try

 

That grille is a huge improvement to the front end.

I didn't know the IPL came with a unique engine cover. That's pretty cool.

Why is there a Takeda sticker on your Cusco FSTB? On the one hand, it's actually a good looking sticker. I like it. But on the other hand... Cusco.

 

I had a takeda CAI installed on my old car. Didn't bother to remove it. Wish I had a spare cusco sticker. Womp...

 

Sweet IPL, I saw a black one parked in manhattan the other day and had to double take. Probably wasn't yours since it looks like you just picked it up but nice upgrade over the g37x. How does it drive compared to your X? Look forward to seeing what you do with it.

It's different in a lot of ways. Feels more responsive and has a harsher ride. But that's all positives to me. Pm me if u wanna take it for a spin. Lol

Where did you get the GT-R clear dome and door light covers? The opaque yellowish ones really kill the light output which is really noticeable with the LEDs that I got.

It does help with light output Bc it's clear. The bonus is that it's different and different looks goooooood.
