I see you got the stock one off - did it survive or did you use vise grips like I did?

I also installed a Diode Dynamics Fog HID kit while i had the bumper off

got some pics of that here...

https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...hid-relay.html

i'm contemplating swapping the Gen3 out for the better fitting Takeda.. my OCD is killing me about how the Gen3's fit.. gonna get one measure up for two separate filters and swap them out.

Yea the Z is finally in the shop getting restored. And yes it was a 5mt KH3 sport. Passed it down to my son a few years ago then finally sold it last year.

Whoa, I can't believe this car went under my radar. You don't post much in the Sedan forum, do you?

Beautiful car, ToXIc. Absolutely beautiful. OCD much? LOL (But I kid because I grok. Totally grok.)

For a while now I've been planning on a STS for my 6MT, scheduled for this Summer. Can you talk about this a little more, please? For example, why B&M over TWM? And being a recent mod, can you write about it with the before/after impressions still in your head?

I suspect if you read through my progress thread there will be a number of freaky "hey that's me!" moments.

the shifter really wasnt a planned mod this early..i found the B&M locally gently used..
definitely had some issues.. with getting it into some gears was ready to pitch it into the junkpile.. then i googled around and found that some of the same issues happen with the TWM.. being stiff to get into gears the over clickyness.. but my buddy suggested raising the TWM shifknob w/ the slugs they provide and that made it day and night.. the heavy weight so high took care of most of the issues and now i'm preety much happy with it..

Yea being OCD sucks at times.. the install of the CAI took longer than expected.. we took about and extra 1.5 hrs trying to line everything correctly so it wont rub here or there but just had to settle.. really dont like the fit.. now it they address those issues with a gen4 i'll probably get it..

Also my OCD gets me into a lot of trouble... for example the wheels below.. some of you know what i've been trough.. oh the snowball effect.. story to come soon....
