Not to mention some of the tools you'll need (i.e. light weight potable race jack, infrared temp gauge, camber/caster gauges, etc... the list goes on and on. I'm sure Tony already has some of this stuff, but if he really wants to start tracking his car it becomes a whole new ballgame.

I ended up getting rid of my GSX because I eventually turned it into too much of a track car and it became no fun to drive on the street anymore, so you can definitely go overboard with the track mods as well.

Oh yeah... Wouldn't that be the ****!! Best of both worlds... smaller first stage turbo's for minimal turbo lag and larger second stage turbo's for maximum top end HP! You should definitely make that your next goal, Tony!

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

I'm still waiting on my DSS axles, this must be the longest I've waited for an order in quite awhile!

While there are still quite a few things on my list to get for my car, I decided to splurge on something else and start a new hobby instead of things for my car:

Naturally it is the hobby of taking car pictures! No more potato pictures from me! This probably could've been my new track wheel setup, but I can also use it for other things like taking pictures of the family..

My friends were having their cars "shot" so I decided to bomb their shindig and take my own pictures

Very nice, Tony! I'm sure the new camera will make a nice addition to you toy collection. My Mom has the same camera and loves it. I wish I had he time (and patience) to learn to use a nice camera like that... if I did I would get one in a heart beat!

Incidentally, what's up with your yellow oil coiler in the above pic?

^ Good eye! I put a piece of cardboard in front of it because the day was kind of cool and the oil wasn't getting up to normal operating temperatures. It's quite amazing how well these setrabs work!

Weather was nice today - Sunny with a High of 62 degrees - so I took the car up to Jtran Motorsports and got the final E85 tune. I say final because the Borgwarner EFR6758 turbos will not make anymore than 21 PSI with the medium actuators that come with the AAM TT kit. Because of this we are basically out of boost control and have also ran out of room on the ID1000s.

So that means my power mods are pretty much done. Now the mods to put the power down and handle it will commence in 2016 while I track test and tune!

Big props to the Jtran Motorsports family!

Wow Tony, 712, amazing! Does that exceed your expectations or is that about where you thought you'd be? Hats off, just mind blowing what you've done here.

We maxed out at 21psi while we were aiming for 22psi and 730-740whp. So it is a little under the 'expectations' but when driving the car all that goes out the window! I had only one chance to open her up in 4th on the way home from work (yes, I went directly from the dyno to work in downtown Houston!). Let's just say it was an OMG moment because when the car hit 21psi my seat belt locked up and I instinctively held my breathe!

The last time I remember holding my breathe while driving was 5-6 years ago when I crashed the car into the side of the highway..!

It's because you think you're done with your build and then some white sedan is pushing damn near 700rwhp.

Royal Purple Raceway was having it's last open Friday night of the year this past weekend. I'm still waiting on my DSS axles which I paid for back on Oct 7th, but I couldn't resist the itch to go back.

I babied the starts so that I wouldn't break another axle, basically rolled off 1st like I do when I drive the car to work.

To my surprise my 60' was only 3/10ths worse than when I was trying to launch the car and just spun. Considering the best time for the night I got wasn't too far off from my previous best time, the car is definitely quicker!

If/when my DSS axles ever come I have a small remedy for my traction issues in the form of a different set of wheels/tires for the rear:

Also this past Sunday the Z Club of Houston | Houston Z's had a Christmas Party x Dyno Day @ Jtran Motorsports which I just had to stop by!
