if you haven't already I'd get some BG44K it's far better than anything in parts stores. At least that's what I've read. I've used it for 10years on all my vehicles and never had a knock issue. Carbon build up on your cylinder walls could be the culprit and looking at those plugs it doesn't look like you were getting a clean burn. Obviously if your knocking your aren't. Changing the plugs and having the car run better is a good sign. Get gas a newer Shell station 93 octane and run the BG44k through for two full tanks and that may solve your problem. Maybe the gas you were getting was ****ty thats why is go to a newer station as their tanks should be cleaner.

From: Framingham Ma,
As far as plugs I used the stock Denso plugs, 3457, I tried some Lucas, Deep clean stuff that one other guy here recommend. I tried 3 different stations since this started, 2 Shells , a Sunoco and even threw in some 100. I'm not sure when I get logs again, Kinda tired of making runs up to 120 and watching for police.

besides a have had a horrible creak/EH-EH noise that's been coming from the front end for 3 weeks not and I need to find out what that is first. I can't drive the car more than 5 MPH with out hearing the noise,

Actually that very well may be your struts. You have OEM struts lowers on Swifts right? Now may be a good time to pick up a used set of Fortune 500 coilovers or new ones for that matter. If you don't like them or that doesn't fix the issue you could resell them pretty quick is bet and only lose a little. Just a thought.
