Went with Z1 HFC's, I'm not sure why they went , I dont trust Berks, FI RHFC's cost over $500 and I needed them soon, Z1 gets stuff to me in a few days, I have a state inspection coming in a few weeks and I'm going to need to cycle all the sensors again :/
I've narrowed down my options to either Z1 HFC or FI non resonated. Have they removed the Z1 HFC yet? Did you hear any rattles?
Have you noticed all the crazy noises that come from an aftermarket exhaust in single-digit temps, before the car is nice and warmed up? OMG, it's horrible. Or maybe it's just my exhaust, and there are certain things in contact when the temps are below freezing?

Metal expands and contracts with heat, and the heat change from zero to whatever it is when warm, that's a big change.
Point being, it's Winter. You're going to hear noises in the winter.

Agreed John, 100% but I run the car a good 6-10 mins before I leave, especially in the winter shift and drive easy for the first few mins, The noise I heard kinda reminded me of my stock cat when it failed last year.

I hear yea, I had berks on my 08XS and the car spent 6 months at the dealer 2 days after install getting everything under the sun replaced and untill the finally swap the the stock cats back on I couldn't drive the car
, BTW no CEL either.
I still almost bought them anyways as as Seb liked them. but I wouldnt have had them till next week. I just can't wait till then

Well the shop said the Z1 cats that can off the car looked terrible , welds and over all quality was like
. The new cats he said looked completely different 100 better than the ones on the car. I don't have be pics and measurments yet but the shop said the header was DRASTICLY different, there is much more space away from the steering shaft, the two pics he showed me on his phone you could tell the header that came off the car was bent and the flange was even clocked in a differnt manner. Just first blush when the car is running an when I'm behind it my eyes aren't watering lol. Well see ! I have to try to get I idle an cruise log tonight, haven't driving it hard yet , drove easy home and I didn't see the gas needle move which is also I good thing I've been watching it drop everyday, I've gone through 3/4 of gas in 4 days gas mileage has been poop

Well, so far so good( Please dont be a jinx) I loaded back in my base tune and did a cruise log and Idle log ,Seb has it now. Drove to work( Base tune) this morning tired a few 4th gear pulls, no blinky, I also used my scan tool when I got to work and saw NO codes only 1 INC, EVAP damn this is always INC LOL, But the 02's passed
Looks like maybe the cats were no good.
Still going to look at a 07 S4 tomorrow tho. Just incase :/
