Interesting... why isn't the OEM push button going to work but aftermarket will?

The OEM works and starts the car actually but they said they were having troubles switching it off in the absence of the OEM ECU.

Interesting. Must be a digital signal sent on a CAN line or something like that...

I'm sure there are a lot of cool options out there. Like a military grade covered toggle switch

Haha I'd love that very much! Will be keeping it tame for the time being though

I'm really tempted to leave it an open dump.. I was told it would get boring quickly.

I had open dumps on my old g35 single turbo. Absolutely loved it. Sounded like Satan in my engine bay.

I'm sold, open dump it is! May just have to make a pipe to point it away from the crank case. Technically speaking, it should sound any different than a recirculating one when you're out of boost, am I correct?

It does look like a 4" in those pics but I'm pretty sure I told them I wanted a 3.5".. I'm not complaining lol

Ummm. I just imagined how awesomely hilarious it would be if your car ended up sounding like a didgeridoo... and was painted entirely purple.

Sorry bro, I didn't sleep well

Correct, can't really hear it if not in boost.
On the other hand under full boost, sounds like hell is coming! I personally loved it, like everytime I start my car, everytime I hit full boost, and every time I heard the open dumps put a big smile on my face n made my jeans tighter. Never gets old. At least for me personally.

Hey Sam I use to know a guy that had a E cut out in his exhaust so he could open it up right at after the turbo when he wanted and then when he was ready for quite he could hold the buttton and close it up. It worked quite well. Just a thought for more rumble!!!

Open dump it is! They ran a 4" down pipe due to the diameter of the hot side, splits into two 3"s then. I'm not complaining

@Buckeye, I will definitely run an e cutout later on on the entire system not just the wastegate.
