I tried making the eyelid pearl white, looked goofy lol, and since you have nice orange accents, and forced to run the front plate, figured it would fit. Im going to be doing mine almost exactly like that, except gunmetal grey on the projector instead of white. I have to wait till next year, or pay up $400. No point since I can do it myself.
Chrome projector ring, and maybe black maybe chrome on the turn-signal ring. No LED mods, and either the eyelid painted the same as the housing, or amber.
Not sure about painting the side-marker, or leaving it alone too. Your first shop was the best, IMO.
It's a few weeks before the snows & duckfeet go back on for Winter, and the car is perched at the end of my driveway. No touch-up on the photos, except for the plates. Exactly as the camera saw the car.
The more I eye hump this car , the more I'm wanting those headlight assemblies painted.
P.S. Im really bored at home right now, so if you have any ideas you want me to visualize, throw them at me lol.
Haha, thanks. I've got passable shop skillz, too, but haven't done what you did here yet. Looks great. Although you cleared the turn signal... I won't be doing that.
Essentially:
Gunmetal housing
Chrome projector ring (unpainted)
Chrome turn-signal ring (unpainted), *or* gunmetal... haven't decided.
OEM turn-signal lens (not cleared)
Amber side marker (unpainted), *or* gunmetal... haven't decided
Amber eyelid (swinging back to the "like" column, LOL)
Well, it's going to be a while, so don't get too excited.
That mod is tentatively planned for 2017, which is when I'm also planning on swapping out my R2C intake for the Takeda long-tube setup. I figure to remove the front bumper for both, so they could happen at the same time. However, I might get curious before then, and experiment with dropping the front bumper just for the skills. We'll see. In any event... 2017 is the likely target.
I've got mods all lined up for 2016:
4.083 rear gears
Rear diff bushings
LED fogs
Short throw shifter
Transmission mount
Undercarriage shroud
4 new snow tires
And for 2017:
4 new PSS summer tires (if needed)
Front Camber arms
Front CO and Camber arm install
Takeda Long-tube intake
Motordyne M370 UIM
UpRev Tune
Headlight Assembly customization
I try to keep plans around $3000/year, and that's how the next two years are looking so far. But nothing is written in stone, and things can change at any time.
the shop that was doing my springs had a takeda they ordered for a client that didnt show up, I was so tempted to buy it....... Only thing that stopped me was that they didnt have a rain guard for it lol. They had a 2013 coupe in the shop the owner gave me a ride in while waiting for my install with the takeda long tube.... sounds beautiful.

I didn't get the rain guard and I've not had any issues with it. Plenty of automated carwashes, touchless washes, and some serious rain storms. Just fyi!

Lol, don't do this to me, I barely got out of there with my wallet intact. They had awd sway bars in stock too, and 3 different exhaust systems that would fit the awd.

you have no idea what a pain in the *** it is to find them in canada lol. I know now where to get them locally, but planning to do the install myself, it will have to wait for spring or whenever its warm enough for me to take it up to the cottage and climb under. Or ill jump the gun in the next month and rent a shop for a few hours....
hexotic, I've got a Takeda rain shield that I won't be using... Living in California I don't need the shield. Good price, and I'll ship to Canada... *hint hint, nudge nudge*
