Coilovers too bumpy - help

I have a few thousand miles on a new set of kb racing coilovers with Swift spring upgrade, on my 2011 G37x. I love the cornering, but even set on full soft the car bounces up on every road imperfection. Everyone who rides in the car comments without being asked how bumpy the ride is. My mechanic lowered the car a little but less than an inch I think. Is the lowering creating this problem? Is there any other way to solve this?

I would love to have the settings tighter for cornering but the ride is unbearable if I go tighter.

Thanks for advice!
Stuart

What spring rates did you go with and True or OEM? Have you reached out to BC about your issues?

What level do you have the strut dampner dial set? i run mine at 1 or 2 for daily driving to smooth out the ride. Run them up higher for spirited driving.

I have had them both on full soft for a while, thinking that would be smoothest. But yesterday my son and I exoeriemented a bit because something I read on the forum made me second guess that premise unless we were imagining things a slightly higher setting like 11 front and 7 rear actually made the car bounce LESS on pavement irregularities. Maybe the damping keeps the car from lurching up as much?

It is still far bumpier than stock so I would like it to be even less reactive if possible. Only things I can think of is if my mechanic preloaded the springs too much or if lowering the car casued this.

I don't know the spring rates but the Swift springs are sold specifically for this setup as a $300 upgrade. I will email BC as well.

You need more rebound and you are adjusting Rebound with the adjuster, you need more clicks. Start half way up all around.

I tried dialing them up and it got better but then got worse. The sweet spot was like seven in the back and 11 in the front. But it still bounces around annoyingly on uneven pavement... Much more so than stock.

How low are you?

Something sounds wrong with your dampers or you have incorrect spring rates for the dampers. What did BC say?
