Lowering options

I have a 2010 G37xS sedan and I plan on lowering the car. I dont want to go to crazy with the drop. Looking to eliminate the wheel gaps. I also want to improve the handling with out sacrificing the ride comfort too much.
I have in mind the eibachs or the swift springs.

What are my options for coilovers for the G37X
Any feedback is appreciated

Gabe

Check out the Fortune coilover group buy.

there are also
- BC coilovers
- Megan racing coilovers
- K Sport coilovers
- D2 coilovers

I am eagerly waiting in reviews for the Fortune coilovers with Swift springs.

Soon a member should be posting a review of the K Sport coilovers.

I grabbed the swifts that I'm planning on putting in once the weather gets nicer, but I got them for all the same reasons.. Ride comfort, mild drop, better handling. But I'm curious.. Does eibach make an application for the X sedan? I'm looking for this as a possible option once I get wheels for a lower drop..

if you find a part number for the eibachs let me know!! i did contact eibach directly and they told me they do not make any springs for the AWD sedans and the coupe springs would not lower at all or just slam the car... just got swifts installed the other day on my 13 X sedan the rear is sitting about 2" too high.. looks ridiculous.. also i have 20s on.. just posted pictures here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...ls-are-on.html

Is it possible they were installed incorrectly? Most swifts for the x don't look as high.

Lisavaccz,
To be fair to grojas, please make sure to provide correct information so he can make a good decision. As I mentioned to you previously, I'm pretty sure your drop on the Swift springs is not indicative of what othe AWD Swift spring owners have encountered.

In fact, your situation is the first I've heard of the backs not lowering. I mentioned to you that the install was probably done incorrectly or somehow you received the incorrect part for the back springs.

My Swifts are the most comfortable ride and it lowered my G 1.2" in the front and .8" in the back for the RWD sedan. I love the way it looks. The AWD G sedan should drop 1.3" in the front and 1.0" in the back. I hope you haven't given up on them.

Very rarely have I seen a bad review regarding Swift springs. Give them a chance and you won't regret it.

I love my ride i never complained about that.. rides great.
I went back to my installer who is very reputable here in NJ and sent pictures over to swift and have been in contact with them for a few days along with N4S who is helping me also. everything is installed correctly. they said my springs may be being stubborn and to give it a week or so but regardless its not gonna drop another 1 inch in the rear... so im giving it a week and if not swift said they will take them back.

I'm very happy with the Swift springs on my 09 G37x sedan. The ride and the height is just what I wanted and the comfort level is fine with me. Can I ask who installed your springs here in Jersey, mine were installed by JDS.

Did you verify if you received the proper part #s, there's been a few cases of the wrong springs put in the box, I know a couple Eibach buyers had that happen.

As I mentioned before, the Swifts are linear and won't be settling much but give the rubber bushings time to compress for about a week and then see.

Mine look pretty level from front to back...

Even the OEM duckfeet look good on that X, dropped on Swifts with spacers. Roof spoiler and CF wrap is a nice touch, too. Looks like your tails are gently smoked as well.

Damn pretty car, dragion. Show the OP a 90* profile shot while you're at it.

He's already got his hands full de-modding a leased vehicle when the time comes.
