You car does not have struts. It has a coil-over damper up front and separate spring/damper in the rear. It is so sad that people can't get this through their heads and parts houses had to adopt "strut" for any style front suspension.

THIS is what I was looking for when I asked if we have shocks or struts. I tried googling it multiple times and nothing came up. Thank you for clearing it up.

Make sure endlinks bolts arent loose or endlink isnt torn bc once it tears and grease is gone it will clunk when you drive over bumps at low speeds

So here’s how 3/4 endlinks look out of the package. They were really bent inward and when I bent them back to straight the boot didn’t really come with it. There’s a gap.
Edit: should i make a return or is this normal? Doesn’t look to me like it’s torn but in my mind it looks like grease will escape.

Why did you post this in both of your threads here in the suspension forum? Once is enough.

I posted it here, then realized someone on my other thread had replied with their experience with the same part. My apologies.

Sound like this??

Just had my fronts done , I’m thinking I might need bushings or a new strut tower

I’ve replaced both Lower Control Arms, Inner and Outer Tie Rods, CV axles, and wheel hub assemblies. (All front end) and the clunking still resides! My next guess is the shocks/struts, but I can only find Strut assembly’s online. Do we not have shocks? I’m looking at getting the pre-assembled strut tower from 1aAuto. Comes with spring, strut mount, and the strut itself. Also, when I go over bumps my steering wheel shakes left and right. (Like it’s turning) so that’s why I think my struts/shocks are bad.
