G37 steering wheel making noise burning smell when turning
So something is wrong with my g37x steering wheel. When I drive slow around turns it makes an awful sound of like friction it's very hard for me to park my car in a lot and back out as my steering barely turns but seems to work like nothing is wrong when I go fast. My fluids have checked out fine.. dunno what's causing it. Anybody have suggestions? Brought it to my mechanic he thinks it's a leaking hose but that still wouldn't explain my situation.. at least I would think.
Also seems to smell up my car of rubber or something when I turn...

If you have fluid and the reservoir is supplying, but its still acting up at low speeds, I would say your pump might be on its way out. Sadly mine is on the way out as well, just starting to make some funky noises. DIY here I come!

Fluid is fine? Then perhaps the smell is coming from the belt burning? It could be loose/old, or the power steering pump is seizing and causing the belt to slip.
Does it happen when turning the wheel at full lock or even at less than that?
