Strut Mount

So i had atempted to lower my G37 X coupe last week but found out that my struts are just to far gone to put lowering springs on em. So i got new struts/shocks all new mounts and arms...pretty much everything. But when i got the new strut mounts from KYB the mounts were well just the bare mount. Im wondering about the rubber piece that holds the top of the spring in place, i cant seem to find any place thats sells the rubber pieces or the top rubber gaskets. Are we just supposed to reuse the ones already on the struts? Or does anyone know of a place that sells them?

Yes, reuse the parts missing from the KYB dampers. You'll most likely need the services of a shop to disassemble the old dampers and to put the KYBs together. And, the G doesn't use "struts", the front is a fixed-height coil-over damper assembly.

Sorry to bring this thread back, but I wanted to ask how your KYB struts and mounts have been holding up? I have heard their struts are generally regarded as a good OEM replacement while their strut mounts aren't as solid. How has your or anyone else's experiences been?
Additionally, what were to happen if the top rubber piece was not put into place? Thanks.
