3mm wheel spacers. Any one have probelms with wheel support on stock hub?

I have a 2012 G37xs Coupe, stock 19" with Akebonos. Just got a loaded mint set of the 2012 non-sport X coupe 18" rims to use for winter. Saw a couple of pictures with it working for people so thought I was all good. They do clear but with only 1.25mm clearance. I was bummed, so close it will worry me. Now shopping for a quick fix. 3mm spacers is the thinnest I can find. I don't want to trade my worry about the rims hitting for worrying that the spacers will leave the wheel poorly supported at the hub flange. I really didn't want to use any kind of spacer. And now the most I will deal with is a thin set of pop on hubcentric spacers. I read that up to 5mm thick spacers is ok, but others still complain of issues. 2mm or less spacers would be plenty but cant find any. Thoughts appreciated, thanks.

A 3mm slip on spacer will not leave it "poorly supported"
You're making this into a bigger deal than it should be.
Put the spacers on and be done with it

well, I still have to buy them first. Dont want to hit a Chicago pothole and bust a lug stud. Just never used spacers before, prefer to just have the right rims.

You'll be OK w/ that minimal thickness spacer, just be sure you get a full 6 turns on the lug nut (torqued up to 80-85 ft.lbs.) for proper depth into the lug nut.

Z1 offers a 2.5mm spacer, but it looks like you've already ordered lol.

The 3mm worked ok. But I ruined one by not paying attention and putting one of the rears on facing the wrong way. The rear hubs have a small flare that is notched on the spacers. After tightening down the lugs it warped the spacer. My bad. The fronts don't matter.
