just go with a simple slotted only, which will only benefit you and run our POSI-Quiet pad...it's exactly what you are describing.

that's all 4 corners, custom machined to order, zinc dipped, w/options...quality pads AND shipping to your door for an STI sir.
please consider everything that's factored into that price tag and it's really not.

I agree, that's not an outrageous price IMO.

I have StopTech slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads but prefer the OEM setup.

^ there is no reason why you'd ever like stock rotors over a quality slotted rotor...
they're superior in looks, feel, and performance. if you preferred the OE set-up, it's the aftermarket pad compound you don't like...not the rotor.

more on this here: pads

my new setup takes more pedal. i preferred the OEM sense of urgency.

^ right, but it's the pads you feel...not the slotting in the rotors.

I'm not arguing with you. I guess I was expecting more from the Hawk HPS pads.

If you don't mind cleaning your wheels a bit more often Stoptech Street pads FTW!

you shouldn't...that in itself is due to the nature of that compound.
