Need help guys wheels, and tires

Hey guys,

Ive been looking around the site and havent come up with anything to really answer my question(i really want to make sure before i buy stuff online

I want 20" setup on my car

I will be getting rohana rc22 20x9 +35 20x10 +40

I dont want to roll or shave anything

I want to avoid rubbing issues

What is the best tire option? 245/35/20 and 275/30/20?

I will be lowing my car on coilovers(dont want springs) very minimally just to cover the gaps(i will be running 225/50/18 wheels in the winter and dont feel like raising my car every time

What are your suggestions, anything is appreciated

thanks again

OK, hopefully help is on the way
Most coilovers will drop a little or as much as you want in the front, the back is another story Even at the highest settings most of them drop pretty low
so to get the proper look your front will also have to drop quite a bit. My Megan LP coilovers are at zero gap and I only have about a 1/4" higher that I can safely go. KW coilovers sell extenders to give you more height but this voids the warranty.
If you're wanting a minimal drop you might want to look into a mild spring (I know you said you didn't but might be the best option in your case) Swift, Tanabe, Tein H-Tech, Eibach, are all mild drops. You'll also want camber kits (at least in the rear).
As far as those wheels, those offsets are conservative so you won't have to worry about any fitment issues but they won't be real flush. You can always add small spacers for a real flush fit after you drop it.

I wouldn't try to make up for wheel gap w/ taller tires, if you want a bit thicker sidewall I'd consider 19" wheels.

The tire sizes you listed 245/35/20 & 275/30/20 will be fine, you could run 285/30/20 in back w/ those offsets as well.

If you get more aggressive (less positive) offsets combined w/ wider tires you can run into fitment issues at the fender wells. I would browse this thread a bit and see some various combos just to see various setups and drops.

There's also this calculator that you can use w/ various setups. I like to enter all my stock data and go from there, that way you can measure exactly how it will fit (give or take) from where you are now.

FWIW I think that wheel/tire combo will look and fit pretty well, it just won't be super flush.

Thanks a lot i really appreciate it!

Do you know of any threads or posts with a 20" setup without a drop or at least where people post up their specs and not just their pictures?

I'm fairly certain you'll drop at least an inch in back unless there's a new Eibach spring set that I haven't seen
I recommend the camber kits but some go without and get along without crazy tread wear, at least that's what they post

My setup rohana rc22 20x9 front +25 and 20x10 +40 rear finally I wanted the +35 in the front but rohana told me it wouldn't clear my brakes is that true? Because now the front will stick out more than I wanted and I don't want rubbing at all and it will be dripped on eibachs using 245/35 and 275/30 any help?

You'll be OK in front w/ the 9" +25, here's Lt8Che's coupe running 9.5" +30 w/ even wider 265 tires and he's sitting OK, yours would be essentially the same at the rim, but narrower at the tire so you're good.

And as far as brake clearance, if the vendor says they won't clear then they probably won't

You'll be pretty flush in front so you might want a small spacer in back to bring that out, but that's no bid deal.
