275/30/20s will work in back but may contact the inner fender edge in front under hard compression (once you're dropped). A 265/30 would be a safer choice, and a 255/35 would take out any chance of rubbing.

For a drop, I'd look into the Tein Basis coilovers to get just the height you want. They only cost about $600. For springs Eibach is probably the most common and will drop about 1.5".

Those of you running just eibachs...will the camber bolts you can buy suffice to correct whatever camber issue the springs will create? Or are the toe arms more necessary? Also, why the hell is that stupid bolt cost so much? Can't I just get a similar bolt from the hardware store? It only looks like a bolt, washers and a nut...why the **** is it like 60 bucks?

It's $25 for a 2 bolt kit, these are mounted to a offset washer that is cut to fit the OEM slot guides. And you would need 2 kits (4 bolts total) to replace the camber arm bolt and the toe bolt on each side. Not a bad deal at all IMO, especially if you DIY. This will get you in spec in back on a drop less than 2".

So the price I saw is for 4 bolts...I guess thats ok. I was hoping to avoid any caber kits whatsoever because IMO they are way over priced. Since I will not be slamming the car and all

Hopefully you don't mind to DIY the install, pretty easy w/ a dremel tool and those small cutoff wafers, I found those work much better than those cutting bits and you can keep the dremel perpendicular to the slot, much easier to see what you're doing and you don't need that flex extension.
Here's the SPC install sheet

Going to use this thread to ask a question, which blnewt is probably going to end up answering; Amazon is telling me these wont fit my 2010 G37x but they look identical to the ones i purchased for my last G37x... what do you think?

The part number you need for the G37/370Z is 72260.

if you are on 18"s, how wide of a rim can you use before you rub on the steering knuckles. I know offset plays into this, just looking for a somewhat general measurement, or should I say what is the first thing you will rub on the wider you get with an 18" rim

The closest I've seen were 18x9.5 +45, this left about 1/4" to the knuckle, maybe a bit closer than that. These were SSR GTV03 wheels and somewhere in this thread you can see how close they come. This would be the same as a 10" +39 FWIW.

I have another set of spacers on the way. Fine tuning. 50mm is probably too conservative
