225/50/18 vs. 225/55/17 Winter Pkg.

hi all,

from Toronto, Canada here. I am looking to get some feedback on which of the following tire pricing, size and makes would best suit my 2012 G37X Sport Sedan.

If you all can chime in and help me out that would be great.

Prices are from Tires 23 Mississauga ON Tires & Auto Parts Shop

Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 package $1450/set
Hankook W419 RS package $1370/set
Gislaved Nord Frost 100 package $1520/set
Dunlop Winter Maxx package $1380/set
Michelin Xice3 package $1540/set

Taxes in, mounted & balanced. Ontario Tire Stewardship are included.

vs.

If you have the Sport, then the 18" will match your stock rims for size. Does that price include winter rims as well? It seems a tad high to me if it doesn't. Costco will do the 17" Michelins for less than $950 mounted without rims - as an example.

If you ever want to put on the Akebono BBk you will want the 18s as well.

They include the winter rims.

What would suggest would work well for my type of car or any choice seems to be good at this point?
