Rebate on Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

Longest tire name ever??

Anyway, since I know a lot of members run this tire (I do myself) I thought I'd share this for everyone looking to replace a tired set of tires. It's an $80 mail-in AmEx gift card rebate. They're already a very nicely priced tire. This makes them a little sweeter. Good until June 30, 2013. I'm probably going to get a set for my e91 and e34 summer wheels.

Hankook Great Catch! Get up to an $80 Rebate

Saw that on Slickdeals today as well, can't be those prices. I wonder if you can get the rebates if getting the tires in different sizes. I only see the rebate shows up when selecting 4 of the same size.

I hope not. I'm planning on getting staggered sizes for both of my vehicles. The form says "Purchase a set of 4 qualifying tires from the list below." There's a check box next to the tire, then you can write down the sizes. I'm sure if you specify staggered set, that they would still give it to you. I'll do a bit more digging.

It's okay to have different sizes front/rear and still qualify for the rebate. No worries there, you'll still receive a form.

Hopefully, they're not like shell oil rebates that require several calls to magically validate the submission. Seems to happen with every single shell rebate I mail in. No issues with other rebates.

Swiss, since you run this tire, tell us a bit about it (including size you're using). What you like/dislike about it, mileage, what you're comparing it to?

I'm running a staggered set up 245/45/19 and 285/40/19 on WedsSport SA-55M wheels. I bought the wheels with Toyo R888 semi-slicks. Those things were LOUD, harsh and uncomfortable. Not suitable for DD at all. Probably decent on the track but I've driven on more comfy R-compound tires (Falken Azenis RT615 come into mind). For a non-track weekend warrior, these are fantastic for the money. It's not as grippy as some other tires like the Michelin PSS or Continental ExtremeContact, but they're only 2/3 the cost of the PSS. Dry traction is great, wet traction is fine as long as you're not racing around the corners. They're comfortable, quite and they seem to be wearing well. Like many others have said, there are other tires that grip better around the corners, but I don't dog my car like that so these work well for me. And again, for the money, these are a fantastic value. I'm planning on buying two more staggered sets for my wife's e91 and my DD e34 in 17in. With the rebate, each set will be around $385. Can't go wrong with that.

I've done it three times, submission is fairly simple and within 2 months the rebate arrives in the mail. Easy breezy.

p.s. Their tech support is wonderful, too. I had questions about relationships between weight, load ratings and PSI's and they went into so much detail explaining them specific to my car and the sizes i was using, including sending me information on load tables and such. I tried asking Michelin support about the same thing and all i got was a sorry they couldn't help at that time. Go figure.
