Just lowered on H&R - Crazy camber

So my H&R springs have been sitting in the garage for a couple of months after reading that the drop is lower than advertised from other members. Took the plunge, held my breath and installed them. After four days the drop on the front is 2-1/8" and 1-3/4" in the rear. I wasn't looking to go that low and I consider that drop slammed for springs. This suspension train has already left the station with cost of springs+install+alignment. (took a pass on the diy for the springs). It does ride great, not bouncy at all..car feels solid. See alignment specs below. Got toe back in specs but camber is way off all around. So.....do I need to flag that train down and throw the spc camber kits (f&r) on board..if so I guess it should be soon than later......let me know what you think......

Get the rear kit which is like 100 bux or so. Wouldn't even bother with the front kit. Get an alignment in about 10 days and have them install kit during the alignment.

Car looks great.

That's the exact drop I had w/ my B&G springs. I got F&R SPC arms and rear toe kit, I'd recommend biting the bullet & getting F&R just to have the full range of adjustment available. You can start w/ the rear but be sure to get the toe kit too, hard to get both the camber & toe in spec without the arms & toe extension. The price you pay now for the kits will pay for itseld in tire savings down the road, and it'll handle better. And yes, drop looks sweet!

Thanks all......

BL....very good points. After all eventually I will be changing the wheels in the near future..having the options makes sense. Just saw that GenomeTuning is blowing out the SPC F&R for less than five bills shipped. Thats a pretty good deal.

Looks hot though, also just get rear spc camber kit and flip front tires every 5,000 miles. Great looking ride!

Get front and rear arms, and be done with it.

TV - I was under the impression that stock camber was not adjustable

So here's the story with the alignment. I took it to a local shop Wellington brake and Alignment. They did brake work on my wife's car and the owner is nice with good customer service. Here's the hilarious part......they did the alignment and show me how out whack the camber. Then said they could fix it no problem for..........get this $1600 in parts plus $250 labor. That's just south of $2k to fix my camber LMAO. I play dumb and ask who makes those parts. He's somewhat reluctant but finally says the company is SPC.....so my jaw hit the floor a second time. I told him respectfully I'd get back to him. LOL

Rear camber is adjustable, in direct inverse proportion to the toe setting, there will be compromise, but toe is the more important setting. The camber gets adjusted until the toe is at max adjustment, in spec.
Basically with stock eccentrics, you take the toe adjustment as far as you can, then adjust camber until the toe is in spec, hopefully the camber will not be way too far off.

SPC front and rear camber arms with rear toe bolts should be ~$500.
Labor around $200.

Check out how I did my rears!!
