On the second generation G37 sedans and coupes the Akebonos will bolt right up to the stock non-sport caliper mounts (they are the same), if you were doing this on a 1st gen G35 Sedan/coupe you would need adapter brackets though.

Ok thanks guys, somehow there is a video on youtube with a guy with the akebono and 17 wheels and no spacers, but I don't know how much I trust that.

Sounds sketchy. Of course if it is true, it would be the smaller rotors. A co-worker bought a Genesis Coupe 2.0t, I found a set of brembo's for it, for 650. It would have been nice to have brembo's on ours, esp if they didn't take up as much space as ours.

Just to double check... I have a 2014 Q60 (G37 Coupe) Journey with stock 18" wheels, so the big brakes should bolt straight on, correct?
