Wondering if anyone could recommend a good car ramp at a reasonable price?

I use rhino ramps. Jack up on the the diff or front K member, then place ramp in place. I've used set a set of 4 to get all 4 corners off the ground at the same time. If I ever get around to cutting my hockey pucks, then I can use the jack stands at the pinch weld locations. I think i need a bandsaw to cut them cleanly.

I paid <$50 for all 4 back around the holidays. Found an online coupon for advance auto + they had 'em on sale. I got ones rated @ 12Klb.

 

Man that's a great deal, I've been seeing them like $60 for just 2.

 

I have a set of 2. Can't see getting because kinda defeats the purpose.

if you're lowered at all, youre not going to be able to drive the car on. Jsolo's method works but for driving it on, youre going to have to make a ramp to help you get onto the actual ramp because it's just too steep.

 

I just used mine. Put 2x6 about 3ft long in front of them to drive up on the ramps.

 

Eh... I rather not burn up the clutch trying to get on the ramps. Although the garage is level, the driveway is not. Easier to just jack and position into place.

Not lowered yet, but eventually will be on eibachs most likely.

 

I made my own. The Rhino ramps are nice, but they won't stay put on my Epoxied garage floors.

DIY “Low-profile” Vehicle Ramp

 

My gorilla ramps have a rubber stopper on them that prevents them from sliding. It's located on the thinnest part of the ramp.

Don't have a problem with them sliding at all

 

Mine did, too. Didn't do much for anti-slip though. Are your floors coated too? They worked fine on bare concrete, however.

 

What's the height of these ramps?
