F/R rotational ratio and VDC happiness

I remember reading somewhere on here (but can't find) that there is a max deviation of the front-rear rotational ratio that should not be exceeded to keep the VDC happy on our cars. What is that cap? 5%? 7%?

Thanks

To put this in context (sorry) this is relevant with respect to wheel and tire upgrades.
