Help with finding new rotors and pads

I need new rotors and pads because mine are all warped and not so responsive anymore (probably needs to be bled) but instead of just getting that OEM look I want a slotted brake rotor and if that isn't possible drilled will due. (front/back)

For those. I need pads and I wanted input for good ones from my fellow G owners. I have the journey so NO big brake kit. Thanks for the help.

This may be the time to think about upgrading to the big brake kit possibly.

If not, stoptech are good rotors and Hawk HPS pads to go with them will work out well.

It's a sedan and journey, no big brakes.

I think best rotors and pads for our G37 are from EBC.

100% Made in UK so good quality. Yet reasonably priced.
Also they are much better quality, finish, and cheaper compared to Made in China's Centric/Stoptech.

Other option would be DBA but they are extreamly expensive. So I don't think we should put too much money on replacement parts like pads and rotors.

EBC Rotors are $300 - $500 for entire set for Sport Model. Should be much less for Non-Sport.

Dimpled and slotted

Their Ultimax Rotors

Stock Replacements

EBC carry excellent line up of pads to choose from.

Blues and Yellow for racing
Ultimax, Green and Red for Street Driving.

I use Red because they maintain my wheels clean.

Stollen rotors, hawk pads, project mu pads. You can get zinc coated rotors to prevent rusting if you like. Not too good on responsiveness I heard.

Unfortunately we don't have anything front rotor wise, but Hawk HPS pads for aggressive street driving work well.

I would NOT recommend Hawk....

Our recommended Pad Length x width x thickness
4.85 X 2.165 X 0.433

Hawk Pads come slightly bigger and thicker
5.01 X 2.98 X 0.626

With my experience. The slightly bigger is not a big deal. However the thickness of the pad is a major problem. Making piston rubber boots closer to the friction area between pads and the rotor. Prone to overheat the boots and later melt and rip the rubber boots into pieces.

Probably no big deal if you always gently brake. However if you are one of those that brake at last moment. Stay away from Hawk.
