Lowering spring install

I am looking for a set of eibachs for my 2011 coupe and was wondering what people are normally paying for the install? I got a quote the other day for 315. Is that high? Also, if anyone has eibachs for sale, please let me know. If not, what is the cheapest place to get them? Thanks.

Prices vary regionally. You'll get a ton of responses saying to DIY but obviously that's not practical or possible for everyone. If you can, you should.

The price that people will pay from most reputable competent shops might vary form as little as about $100 to as much as $400 or more. IMO $315 is slightly high but you might not have access to shops that are as cheap as in some major urban areas where there's more competition on price. I'm in the Houston area and do a lot of local installs from my home. For Eibachs on a G I may charge about $225. Shops will charge around $300. So to me, no it's not that expensive. You can't judge by the $50 prices some guys get because their friend did it or they have a shop that hooks them up. $200-$300 is a fair price.

If you have a driveway, jack, basic socket set and a day off tackle it yourself. You can borrow spring compressors from most any chain auto parts store.

Or else pay the $315 which is not that bad for the amount of labor involved. (Not hard just will take a little while with handtools) Air gun helps speed up breaking bolts and dissasembling the struts.

I have done shocks/struts on probably 5 different cars over the years now. It's not really fun, I wouldn't do it for someone else for less than $200. (the guy at the shop probably isn't even making that much since the $315 includes the shop's cut)

If you are not that handy my advice would be to do the rears yourself as they are super easy. Like 4 of 10 when it comes to difficulty. Then take it to a shop and have them do the fronts for a lot less than it will cost for all 4.
