Tire size question

I just bought a set of WedsSport SA-55M wheels that are 19X9 and 19x10 and am looking for a new set of tires. Tirerack's suggested tire size is 225/45/19 and 285/35/19. The tires that are mounted on them now are 245/35/19 and 295/30/19. How do I know what size tire I can put on these bad boys? Right now I'm looking at 235/35/19 and 275(or 285)/30/19. Will this cause me any trouble? I'd like to stay wide in the rear and wider-ish in the front. 235 in the front right now are a little stretched... Looking at Continental ExtremeContact DW.

Thanks

I'd consider 245/40 and 275/35. Spend the money and get the Pilot Super Sports. You'll be very happy you did.

Thanks fellas! 245/40 and 285/35. I'm not a huge fan of michelins though...I've always had a thing against them. Don't know why lol

The 225/45-19 and 285/35-19 combo will work fine on those wheels, but tire selection is slim. More selection in 245/40-19 and 285/35-19
