Reuse rotors?

Reuse rotors?

doing rear pads on my g37S coupe, Ceramic pads...car has about 50k

is it possible to reuse rotors (resurface)

or better to get new?

No need to get new rotors unless something is wrong with the ones you have. Resurface them for a few bucks and put them back on.

i wouldnt even bother resurfacing them since it reduces total mass (which reduces heat capacity, strenght, etc). its fine to do sometimes, but just doesnt make sense to do it unnecessarily.

Are they smooth?
Get 4" coarse metal sanding discs for a drill. Break the glaze by crosshatching the rotor surface, install the pads.
As long as they are not warped to begin with, you'll be fine.
