Loose wheel stud
So after a one hour battle with the rear spacer nuts to take them out, one of my rear wheel studs came loose. The wheel shop had an air gun and managed to remove the nut, then retightened the wheel stud. I'm still very paranoid though and check the nuts after every drive.
Should I have the studs re-torqued in general or will my entire hub need to be replaced? I read online people welded those in, sounded a little too ghetto though lol

I'll definitely have them looked at in the future. If anyone has torque specs from the factory service manual I'd appreciate that

Thanks for the links. I ended up breaking that same wheel stud later on and getting a new one lol

Every 40 miles? That's a little too frequent

Broken stud could indicate a wee bit of over torque. I believe dimsler is referring to checking the nut torque after the initial mileage to make sure none have backed off. I'm not so sure if that would apply for the studs. Wouldn't the wheel have to be removed to torque the stud? If the follow up applied, it would be: torque studs, torque nuts, drive, torque stud, torque nuts, drive, torque nuts. Get OCD that somehow the stud got loose and repeat....
By the way, the thread titlte made me think that Bruin got loose from Useless....
