does anyone know the best way to wash/clean the matte silver finish on the vossen wheels every time i do it,, It dryes up and leaves marks what should i duuu

 

Simple green all purpose cleaner. And then if it spots up just use a microfiber towel and whipe

 

are the wheels powder coated?

Are you sure the wheels are not powder coated or painted? Vossen sent me rims that were not powder coated by accident and they looked horrible when I washed them with water marks all over. The matte silver rims have a machined front finish and the back part of the spokes are either painted or powder coated (im not sure which Vossen does) a silver finish.

 

what are you talking about... i'm pretty sure none of the Vossen rims are powdercoated.

i have the 086s matte silver. when i wash them they gets spots too, but once they dry you can't see any spots whatsoever.

vossen sent out a batch of rims that were not properly finished. i know this because i was one of the recipients. the wheels do have a finish on it other than the base. my first set of rims were not finished properly and consequently vossen sent me out a new set. like i said before, i am not sure if they are powder coated OR painted, but there is some sort of finish other than the base. my new rims have a slightly different color than the original base. whatever finish they put on the new rims leave no watermarks and are very easy to clean, unlike the first set.
