20in staggered XXR 521..crap? or value?

Hey all,

Just looking at various rim packages. Came across this on ebay. Anyone rocking these? Can anyone provide some insight into XXR? Are they decent or crap? I was thinking about just painting/powder coating the factory rims, but everyone wants $250 a rim. SO I figured if I could scoop some rims for around 600-800 and spend around $800-$1000 on tires it might be worth it. Oh and throw in $250 for a drop. hmmm maybe I should just save up and get the rims. Anyways are these a good value or crap?

I think they are a great value man. Some other former XXR's owners will probably tell you the same, very light and well built for the price you are paying.. I am selling exactly those wheels if you are interested let me know..

I think they're a good value for what they're worth.

My first set was XXR's and they were pretty decent and looked good for a daily driver.

Depending on the drop..

Eibach i rubbed on big dips and stuff.. A 15min fender roll and you'd be good to go.

I've seen these in person and they're actually pretty light for what they are. The only thing I don't like about these are that the rivets are useless(fake)

of course they'll be useless, it's a 1 piece wheel.

Not sure if you are still looking at these but I bought them and they look pretty decent in person. I am waiting on my tires and TPMS sensor nuts now before I can install them. If you want I can take detail up close pictures and from the back side. I will weigh them too. They are not the lightest wheels in town either.

Thread revival!

I am thinking about getting these rims with the polished lip and painting the centers.

Can someone post pics of their settup?

Thanks!
