Just a tad.

I have a set of DBA 5000 front and DBA 4000 rear (Slotted, but not drilled) sitting next to me in the office right now. I am waiting on a chance to install them as I have been super busy. I will let you know what I think after they are on. I am also adding SS brake lines at the same time and Hawk HPS pads.

I like the look of R1 Concepts and you can not beat the price of under $400 for all four rotors and sets of pads shipped to your door.

You guys are all missing the fact that driving hard is relative, and the OP is insinuating that he drives significantly harder than the norm...

B-force likely won't hold up for him. How about HC+?

Did you mean HP+? As long as he can deal with the wear, noise and dust then these would be good pads to consider.

LOLL everyones just talking about their street pads.. it's pretty hard finding a pad for both street and light track.

HC+ is a PMU pad. HP+ is a Hawk pad.

Oddly enough, they're advertised to be usable in similar temperature ranges... and both squeal like angry pigs unless bedded in properly (and 90% of the people who buy both are buying them to "have racing parts" and "be hardcore", and complain about the noise).

How much did you get them for, and from whom?

It was from a vendor on my370z.com. I believe it was Forged Performance. They were $1100 shipped for the set. I think it was JEBperformance on our sight who had them for around that price or a little better at one time. I won't be installing them for about 6 weeks now as my Tein coilovers are back ordered and I want to do everything at once.

OK sweet. They seem to be the best option as of now to me.

Let me know how they go. I will probably pick up a set from JEB. The DBA engineering hits the mark for me!

Stoptech Street Performance? I've used them for street, autocross and light track. I used them on the track for two consecutive days and there is a great deal of pad left. My setup: stock rotors, ATE fluid. No fade during the track days and no squeal or noise during cold weather street driving. Heavy dusting but at least the dust is noncorrosive and easily cleaned. I have the pads on fronts and rears and the bias is very even.

Mike suggested Carbotech. They are a great choice since you can switch between the various pads without having to re-bed. As always if you're looking for one pad to do it all you'll have to compromise so consider the Street Performance a good compromise.
