Eibach install cost??

I just banged some Eibach springs today for my 09' G37x and they should be here next week..

Now, I need someone to install these.. Anyone know what the install cost should be ?

Even better, can anyone recommend someone in the Chicago area?

There's a crazy cool search feature on this site. Here's one result, best bet is to call around and get quotes from shops in your area.

I wouldn't recommend banging any springs... You don't know where they have been, you might get really injured

Find a local shop, they should do it for around $100 bucks. Anything more than that is a rip.

Ya man don't bang springs you can get stds, lol. But I paid a friend of a guy on the forum to do it. Just look for someone in your area that knows how to do it. It's really an easy install just need a jack, impact wrench, and a spring
Compressor. I agree anything over 100 is too much.

Do you only need a spring compressor for the front springs though?

Yep, kinda tough to find one though that will fit between the tight coils. I ended up taking out the struts and taking just those + new springs into a shop and they swapped them out for $50. Saved me about an hour or two.

So I don't need to compress the rear springs? I heard they were easy to install, but do I have to compress them as well?

No, they sit in a 'bucket' that can be supported by a jack when removing/installing the spring.

No compressor for the backs. Look in the DIY, there's one titled "backyard spring install".

I would go Eibach, but I guess it depends on the drop you want. From what I remember H&R has a bit more of a drop than Eibach which could make it almost impossible to get it within/close to alignment spec.

Or just be a big baller and get some coilovers...
