Review Tanabe front springs with Infiniti Sport rear springs – G37S Coupe

Several forum members have asked me about this setup recently so I'll provide a brief update...
While I did a "refresh" of my G this year (2014) with the IPL kit, Vossen wheels and Fortune 500 coils, I was completely happy with the Tanabe/Sport setup for three years and 20k miles. I never noticed any degradation of the ride quality and once the fronts settled at 27" there was never a change in the fender height over the three year period.
I still highly recommend this setup for anyone looking to get rid of the motorboat look and keep the stock ride and alignment specs with no camber kit needed.

with the tanabe springs and 15 mm spacers were you running the stock size 225/245 tires?
I just bought a set of the tanabe front and eibach rear springs and might be switching to wider tires 245/275 so if I go that route I'm trying to figure out what mm spacers to get

Joined the Tanasport clan couple of weeks ago, Tanabe springs upfront and stock sports on the back. Here are some pics, sorry for the quality.
The ride comfort is essentially the same. The only "problem" is the camber which is sitting at -1.5 degrees obviously non adjustable, but the toe was set to 0 so I should be fine when it comes to tire wear issues. Some times it looks a little raked but the stance is so much better than stock. Maybe ill cut a little the rear spring rubber mount to drop like a 1/4 inch on the back. Just need to get some spacers!!! Thinking of going with 20mm all around.

While I've been considering doing this for the Vert for a couple of reasons, it's amazing to me that this was not the oem configuration. It'll be in excess of $400 and it will look like it should have always been this way. I'm hoping this is a reasonable application for the Vert. I REALLY don't want to mess with the rear suspension on this thing.
...unsure if this set up would work on a 2013 G37s but I am going to look into this too.

Although I would recommend spacers also, these front springs plus spacers work and look great, been rocking it almost 2 years (20mm spacers all around). The car doesn't look slammed, it just looks great and its practical.
I havent run coilovers on my car so I believe other members with more experience could chime in and help you there.

Yea sorry I was thinking about springs but wrote coils sorry. Thats what I am looking for something that does not look like a low rider but at the same time makes it look more agressive just like your car....
