I remain 100% satisfied with this set-up, as front/rear measurments have remained rock-steady at 27 1/4". Car drives great, looks great, and required no alignment. I have since added 15mm spacers all around (thanks to the forum classified ads) and the car looks more aggressive without going over the top.

Many thanks for the update. I think I'm likely going to go this route.

How's it going? (First post over here, but I've been lurking for quite some time) I like your lowering technique.. do you have any pics with the spacers installed? Also, what did you end up getting for the spacers? What brand?

Here's a pic of the car since I installed the 15mm spacers. Not sure of the brands(s) - I bought two seperate sets from forum members.

how is the ride quality? alot of the eibach guys complain about the bounce & harsh ride when hitting bumps ( eibach sits lower, so makes sense ). how is the tanabe springs when it comes to bounce/harsh ride?

As stated in my initial post, I find the ride to be essentially the same.

The springs are "settled" after 4 months and the gap has remained the same.

I would think so... The IPL changes were mostly cosmetic with a little engine exhaust tweaking.

The IPL's have a 10% stiffer rear spring rate over the S models but it shouldn't affect setting this up.

Might actually make it even better!

your setup looks great, will be following suit soon. Questions, did you need to install a camber kit for the front after you lowered the car? Have you noticed any uneven wear on the tires since installed the springs? Thanks

I had the alignment checked recently when I got a screw in my tire and am within spec on the front (barely). Tires show no excess wear at this point, but I don't put a lot of mileage on the G.

That came out really good for the look you were after. And I 100% agree that this should ve been the factory look rather than the ridiculously high front.
