coilover "boing" noise

I was driving today and heard a rather loud "boing" noise coming from the front left BC coilovers. It only happen once (when i swerved to avoid a pothole) and was fairly loud.

Is that okay haha? later tonight ill take off the wheel and take a look

You sure it was from the coil and not that you hit something?

Either way I'd take off the wheels and tighten everything up there there...

I don't know where the noise comes from but it happens if I hit a sudden bump. Happened with my tein and with my megan's. If i set the dampening "softer" it doesn't seem to happen.

Solution: Don't live anywhere that goes to -35 degrees of anything.

If you work in the oilfield, there are warmer places beckoning...
