Think about this, if you installed the rubber cone you won't be able to adjust your height.

Those older threads you looked at probably installed it upside down. Your clunking sound is most likely coming from your rear shock mount. You can try to remove your stock one and install it on your BC. That might help dampen that sound more

Why would the rubber cone keep you from adjusting your height? You just want be able to go quite as low but I dont know why you would want it to sit on the ground anyway.

So these BC coilover's clunk and squeak? They looked real attractive but its simply unreal that you would spend over 1 grand on coilovers and have them not be totally quiet.

They are not needed, nor would they fit when using coilovers

I know this is an old thread, but for those of you who installed the BC coils - did you pass the rear extenders into the trunk like the directions stated????

i got a hold of pete at BC he was really helpful. i gotta go drive to jersey to let this guy check it out there might be to much preload on the rear struts causing it to hit hard on a bump even on the softest setting. ill post up the review after it gets done

Did you get this figured out? I had the same problems with my Megans on my 370z. It made a clunking noise in the rear on hard bumps. Adjusted pre-load, was not using lower rubber isolator, installed correctly and stil lmade noise. Pissed me off.

I believe BC is shipping a rubber isolator for the rear spring assembly to prevent the noise issues.
