^so your saying there should be more rings visable below the spring or less?

 

less springs visible below the springs, but you won't be spinning the rings in relation to the shock. they will rotate together into the bottom mount. make sense?

 

I had the front left wheel off and it started raining so I just snapped a pic instead of messing with it so I know when I go back out there what needs to be turned to lower the car. Here you guys go let me know what I need to turn and what direction to lower it further.

 

loosen the very bottom ring, under the brake lines.

you may have to loosen the bottom ring under the spring, not sure mine are diff.

but after you loosen, grab the threaded part of the strut, and turn it, from the pics it looks like clockwise will lower it, and counterclockwise will make it higher.

You dont want to adjust the height of the spring(preload) leave that alone.

Like i said before, constantly measure, measure from the very top where they screw in to the fender down to where the most bottom ring is. See what the length is first and lower the amount you want to lower the car. ex: 1" lowers 1"

Ok that def should help, going out to do it right now...looks like I can't go much lower though

 

I'll take more pics if I can later weather/light permitting...was just out there in the wetness adjusting them...Front is sitting .75-1 inch lower now...heres a teaser for you guys ; )
